Cheap Livings

Here are my shopping totals. As I said yesterday, I am not sure what was going with the coupons, but no matter how hard I seemed to work out my menu, and I changed it around a few times, I couldn’t get any coupons going with the sale items. Which this does tend to happen from time to time, and really there is nothing that you can do about it. I went to three stores this time around. KrogerTotal Spent: $ 71.67Total Coupons Used: $1.50Total Sales: $16.84Actual Cash Used: $53.33Meijer Total Spent: $81.84Total Coupons Used: $1.55Total Sales: $10.22Actual Cash Used: $70.07Seaway Total Spent: $49.85Total Coupons Used: $2.00Total Sales: $13.53Actual Cash Used: $34.32I would have spent $ 203.36 but since I had $ 5.05 in coupons and got $40.59 in sales, I only used $ 157.72 in actual cash. So that means I saved $45.64. Not a great deal of money, but here every single penny counts. I spent about 4 hours total getting everything ready. So I basically made over 11 bucks an hour getting my menu and list together. You can’t beat that when you think about it.
